- Hi there,
-
- I still haven't got the heart to throw away the old 286, and I figured
- that with 4 MB RAM, TC++ and an emacs editor I could still do some
- serious code generation on this box.
-
- As we all know, a EMS memory manager for 80286 processors is not easy to
- find, and therefore I am trying to make TC use XMS, running Himem.
-
- In the Get info menu on the file menu, it says:
-
- Extended memory in use: 0
- Expanded memory in use: 0
-
- I know no other alternative to XMS than using the himem.sys mangager. My
- question is: Is there a switch that will make TC use XMS??
